Uber Watch App
A bold, minimal interface for fast and safe rides from your wrist.

Project Overview
The Uber Watch App was designed by rethinking how ride-hailing could work within the limitations of a smartwatch. The focus was on creating a simple, glanceable interface that lets users book a ride in just a few taps, without slowing them down. Along the way, I prioritized usability and accessibility while making sure the experience felt consistent with Uber’s existing ecosystem
Role: UX/UI Designer | Duration: 4 weeks | Tools: Figma & After Effects

Challenges & Learnings
Adapting core Uber features to a tiny interface required ruthless simplification. Iterative usability testing highlighted the need for clear feedback and fast, single-tap actions. Key learnings: prioritize essentials, delight in details, and always test early.
Designing for context meant accounting for distraction and speed. By focusing on accessibility, the experience stayed empowering instead of overwhelming.

Design Challenges and Solution
Designing for a smartwatch meant working with a tiny screen, limited input options, and short attention spans. Users can only tap, swipe, or glance for a few seconds, so the interface had to be extremely simple and instantly clear.
How I Tackled Them
I reduced the booking flow to just two taps, used large high-contrast buttons for quick interactions, and created contextual screens that only show what’s needed at each step—request, confirm, or track.
Target Users / Use Cases
The app is designed for busy, on-the-go users who need speed and convenience:
Commuters booking rides during rush hour without fumbling for their phone.
Travelers carrying bags or coffee who can’t easily pull out a phone.
Professionals moving between meetings who need a quick, distraction-free ride request.
